What You Need to Know About 0468 193 432

The phone number 0468 193 432 has been identified as a spoofed caller ID by several users. This means the number displayed may not actually belong to the person or organisation making the call. Spoofing is commonly used to disguise the true origin of a call, making it appear more local or trustworthy.

Why You Might Be Getting These Calls

Spoofed calls can be random and often part of wider call campaigns. You might receive one even if you’ve never shared your number widely. These calls can range from silent hang-ups to messages pretending to be from legitimate services or people.

How to Handle Calls from 0468 193 432

Because there are no confirmed reports of scams tied directly to this number, there’s no need to panic. However, it’s always wise to stay cautious with unexpected calls. Here are a few simple tips:

  • If you don’t recognise the number and weren’t expecting a call, let it go to voicemail first.
  • Don’t share personal or financial information over the phone unless you’re certain who you’re speaking to.
  • Never follow instructions to transfer money, click links, or install apps from unknown callers.
  • Use your phone’s built-in call blocking or report features to limit future unwanted calls.

Stay Safe and Informed

It’s not unusual for spoofed numbers to show up on your phone from time to time. If you don’t have contacts or connections linked to this number—or to the region it appears to be from—be extra careful. Always think twice before engaging, especially if there’s any mention of urgent payments, threats, or account issues.

Staying alert and informed is your best defence. If anything ever feels off, trust your instincts and verify through official channels when possible.

Total scam. Said they were from Dell. Didn't get past Google call handler.

So I got this call from a bloke who totally knew my first and last name. He claimed to be from Dell, trying to rope me into a seminar at Crown Casino about AI tech. When I said I wasn't keen and didn’t elaborate, he just hung up. Definitely keep your guard up with these calls!

About This Report

This page is part of the Reverseau Scam Intelligence Database, a community-driven dataset maintained by Reverseau since 2014. The database documents caller behaviour across Australian phone numbers based on first-hand user experiences.

Each entry is generated when individuals who received calls or messages from a number submit a report through our review form. Reports include a caller safety rating (1–5 scale) and a written account of the interaction. All submissions are moderated before publication.

The safety rating shown on this page reflects the collective assessment of 0468 193 432 by real users. It measures perceived caller risk, not the quality of this page. A low rating indicates that reporters consider this number likely to be associated with scam or spam activity.
