Scam

This woman rang me up, claiming she was from Oxfam asking for donations for Gaza. I started asking a few questions about how the money would be used, and you wouldn’t believe it—her responses didn’t make a smidge of sense! When I suggested I’d just donate on their website, she got all pushy to do it over the phone. Talk about outrageous!

So, this bloke calls claiming he's from Oxfam, wanting donations. A quick search shows Oxfam doesn't do that. He was super pushy - classic scam!

For the love of all things Aussie, why can’t they just leave us alone? Three calls in three days? Absolute pain in the neck!

This caller was practically begging me for donations to Oxfam in Palestine. He was so pushy, it got dodgy vibes—definitely didn't like how keen he was on getting my card details.

I answered because I wanted to learn about their charity cause. The moment I told them I’m broke and can't donate (I've got just $60 for the next week and a bit), they just hung up. No thanks, no nothing! Really fuming about it, thought I was doing something good.

About This Report

This page is part of the Reverseau Scam Intelligence Database, a community-driven dataset maintained by Reverseau since 2014. The database documents caller behaviour across Australian phone numbers based on first-hand user experiences.

Each entry is generated when individuals who received calls or messages from a number submit a report through our review form. Reports include a caller safety rating (1–5 scale) and a written account of the interaction. All submissions are moderated before publication.

The safety rating shown on this page reflects the collective assessment of 0468 021 448 by real users. It measures perceived caller risk, not the quality of this page. A low rating indicates that reporters consider this number likely to be associated with scam or spam activity.
