I received a phone call from the number +61 2 5303 1877, with the caller claiming to be from Accident Helpline. When I asked when the accident occurred, he claimed it happened two years ago when I was hit by another car. I responded by telling him he needs to do some research before scamming people, and then he hung up.
The caller did not leave a message, and I suspect they may be scammers. I've blocked the number to avoid any further contact.
My phone blocked the caller, but they left a strange voicemail. It was a young woman's voice repeating "hello" several times without leaving any coherent message.
This was a scam call from an Indian caller who claimed to be from the 'Do Not Call' Register. I suspected it was a scam and chose to listen for a bit; however, when he started asking me to confirm my credit card details, I hung up.
I chose not to answer the call. They left a voicemail that contained a recorded message about a "$700 transfer from Western Union." I felt uncomfortable and deleted the message, then blocked the number.
I received a call from this number, and after a long silence, the caller claimed that I had been in a recent car accident. This raised my suspicion.
Scam phone number.
The caller claimed to be from the 'Do Not Call' Register and started asking if I had been receiving nuisance calls. They then requested my credit card details to verify that my registration was active. I find this quite ironic and suspicious.
Scam Visa Mastercard robotic voice.
08 an 24 just received a call, typical random number caller, then connects to a typically Indian female scammer.
I received a call purporting to be from 'eBay' claiming to confirm a transaction for $299.99. Since the call originated from Bathurst (NSW), I decided not to answer it. The caller left a voicemail as well.
Scam Number.
This call was a recorded message that claimed to be from Commonwealth Bank, discussing unauthorized transactions. It was clear to me that this was a scam when I attempted to call back and was informed that the number was "not in use." I have since blocked the number to prevent further contact.
