I received a call from an unknown number that appears to be from Bathurst, NSW. They left a voicemail instructing me to press one to cancel a payment, while pressing two would allow the payment to go ahead. However, they did not provide any details regarding what this payment is for or who is requesting it. I've noticed this is not the first call I have received from numbers in Bathurst, leading me to believe that this is likely a scam. I have since blocked the number and reported the incident.
Scam.
Automated voice saying "susan from the commonwealth bank" Scam.
514003: There was no voicemail left after this call; I only noticed that I had received a missed call from this number.
Scam Call Number.
PayPal scam - robocall.
Missed call didn’t answer, called the number back, recorded voice saying diamond plaza.
This number when answered is a machine telling you there’s a PayPal amount trying to be deducted from your PayPal account. When you ring it back a machine answers, with an American accent telling you you’re #5 in the cue and your call is important. BLOCKED. DELETED!
I received a random call from an unknown number supposedly located in Bathurst, NSW, on my mobile phone. I did not answer, and the caller did not leave a message. I returned the call from a landline, only to hear a recorded message from 'Diamond Plaza' in an American accent, stating that I was in the queue. My research shows that there is no 'Diamond Plaza' in Bathurst, only in Vietnam. I suspect this is a scam or telemarketing call.
PayPal scammers.
Diamond Plaza? Asking questions about PayPal payments, obvious scam. Blocked.
