Indian accent woman told me she was from Telstra calling about my internet (number is with Optus according to this site!). Then it cut off. It’s a scam.
The caller claimed to be from Telstra, informing me of an issue with my IP address. I felt uneasy and hung up immediately.
The caller ID showed that the call was from Bathurst, NSW. I didn’t pick up and no voicemail was left, which makes me cautious.
I did not answer this call, and they left no voicemail message. The caller ID indicated it was from Bathurst, NSW, while I reside in Victoria. This raises my suspicions that it was yet another spam call.

Called me today and said she was from Amazon about my ‘last order’ I hung up and blocked, scam call.
This caller was a female voice, and when I tried to engage, she abruptly hung up on me. I believe this is a scam call.
Just received a phone call from this number. Scammers for sure. Gave his name as John Williams from Amazon - told me there had been fraudulent activity on my account with Amazon, and someone had ordered a mobile phone on my account. I asked for his name again - he said you want my name I said yes. He said John Williams. I replied- you don’t sound like John Williams and he hung up.
Answered the call - silence for a second, then the call ended -adding this to our "blocked numbers"
I decided to block this number because I have no idea who it belongs to and felt uncomfortable.
The caller did not leave a message, so I have decided to block the number now.
A general tip: If you do not recognize a phone number, it is best not to answer the call.
They hung up as soon as I answered.
The caller started by saying they were from the NBN and had a strong Indian accent. I hung up immediately and subsequently blacklisted the phone number due to suspicion.
It's scam call.
I strongly suspect this is a scam. The caller began by informing me that there was a suspicious purchase of $890 involving gift cards on either a Visa or MasterCard.
