Received the same email, no name just my email address, will not be calling as this is an obvious scam.

Scam

Received an email that says from Ethan Michael with an attachment that said from PayPal, that I have paid for an iPhone $649 and if not me to call +41 8 96773265. Obviously a scam as the letter from PayPal didn't mention my name. I also checked my PayPal account and no such charge so don't call this number as I bet that you will be charged about $50 a minute.

About This Report

This page is part of the Reverseau Scam Intelligence Database, a community-driven dataset maintained by Reverseau since 2014. The database documents caller behaviour across Australian phone numbers based on first-hand user experiences.

Each entry is generated when individuals who received calls or messages from a number submit a report through our review form. Reports include a caller safety rating (1–5 scale) and a written account of the interaction. All submissions are moderated before publication.

The safety rating shown on this page reflects the collective assessment of (08) 9677 3265 by real users. It measures perceived caller risk, not the quality of this page. A low rating indicates that reporters consider this number likely to be associated with scam or spam activity.
