I decided to look up this number after it called me a couple of days ago, and I discovered that many others have reported it as a scam. It’s not safe to call back or engage with them.
I received a call claiming to be from Telstra regarding an internet service that I don’t have. The caller knew my name, did not adhere to privacy protocols, and I ended up telling her to "go forth and multiply," as I strongly suspect they are scammers.
I received a call from someone claiming to be from Telstra, warning me about issues with my internet. I believe this is a scam, as it sounds similar to other scams I have encountered.
When I answered the call, there was no response from the caller at all, which is concerning.
I received a computer-generated message stating they were calling from ANZ Bank, which is suspicious since I don't bank with them. It's likely a scam.
