Common Traits of Tech Support Scams

Claim to be from Windows saying my computer is transmitting error messages. When questioning them they become abrupt and aggressive insisting that I can verify their call by going infront of the computer and doing as they say. Sounded sus and so hung up half way through the call. They called back and I again hung up. DO NOT TRUST.

About This Report

This page is part of the Reverseau Scam Intelligence Database, a community-driven dataset maintained by Reverseau since 2014. The database documents caller behaviour across Australian phone numbers based on first-hand user experiences.

Each entry is generated when individuals who received calls or messages from a number submit a report through our review form. Reports include a caller safety rating (1–5 scale) and a written account of the interaction. All submissions are moderated before publication.

The safety rating shown on this page reflects the collective assessment of (08) 9397 4412 by real users. It measures perceived caller risk, not the quality of this page. A low rating indicates that reporters consider this number likely to be associated with scam or spam activity.
