Received phone call from 08 9294 1821 (which would indicate to me a phone number allocated to suburbs around Greenmount, Swan View, Helena Valley, outer suburban area of Perth, Western Australia.

How wrong was I to think this was a legit call from a number unknown to me.

Foreign Indian / Pakistan accent, male caller, claiming to be from Accident report department, someone associated to my phone number has been in accident not of their fault.

Obviously another overseas scamming scumbag. When is this Australian government going to get off their backsides and do something about the tsunami flood of scammers harassing Australian citizens and residents, trying to cheat Australians out of hard earned $'s.

Enough is enough, scumbag scammers need to be stopped ... NOW.
