Robo call purporting to be from eBay re a purchase and amount of $299.99 to be debited from my account and asking me to press 1 to discuss my account. I didn't ! I hung up and blocked.

I haven't purchased anything on eBay so this is a scam call.

I received a recorded phone call from this number claiming that it is from eBay and that 299.99 will be charged in to my credit card. I just hang up and did not finish. Looks like a scam.

This time an automated voice message was left. "This is a confirmation call from eBay. We have received a purchase request of $299.99 which will be debited from your account...". Then other options were given such as press 1 to speak to an operator etc. Have ignored it as I think it's a scam.

Received a call, they didn't leave a message. Called back and they claim to be eBay but hung up once I refused to give them my details and refused to provide me more information as to why I have received a call. Person who answered sounded very much like they were in a scam call centre as well, with more people in the background talking as well.
