This call is safe. I returned the call using the official number for the passport office and confirmed that the caller was legitimate.
I got a call from this number and he said he is calling from com bank and a suspicious transaction is being done from my account of 900$ to a foreign account. And when I said I was at work can’t talk he said then the transaction would be done already. I got so angry and hung up.
Scammer called pretending to be from Amazon - had my full name / address and then even requested a OTP to my phone number.
Do not give them any information. Scam.
Caller sounded foreign, lots of back ground noise, stated he was from COMM bank, asked for conformation on name. Then stated had received an iPhone message. I said I couldn't hear him and he hung up.
The caller answered by saying "hello" but then hung up immediately. When I tried to call them back, I only heard a dial tone.
I received a scam call that was supposedly related to "important documents" from a Chinese source, but it seems to be nothing more than a fraudulent attempt to solicit information.
I received a call about "important immigration documents" that I never requested. The options offered were to press 1 for English or 2 for Chinese. I chose to hang up immediately.
I received an unsolicited call from this number and they did not leave any voicemail message.
