A call was made to me on a Sunday, but I did not answer as it was outside normal work hours. After reading several reports, I feel relieved knowing that many others have had similar experiences and found this number suspicious.
This caller, similar to the previous reports, asked me about the wait time for a specialist appointment, as well as inquiring about costs and Medicare rebates associated with the service. The nature of these questions feels dubious.
Called 2 separate specialist phone numbers I work for within 2 mins and told me the last practice she spoke to (me on a different number) had a 4 month wait when I said a date 2 weeks away, when I questioned them they just asked about rebates. AI call.
My sister has encountered this number multiple times at her medical practice. It even called my office today and went to voicemail. The message sounded like a real person speaking in a very conversational tone. However, it seemed like it might be an AI or robocall as the conversation continued as though I had answered their questions. This is a significant waste of valuable time for medical staff.
The caller inquired about the availability of a doctor’s schedule, similar to previous reports. This raises concerns about the legitimacy of their intentions.
Called our practice today to check wait time for wait time of consultation and cost of consultation for specialist, I thought this may have been an AI voice. I called the number back and there was only a message - I am now certain it was a recorded AI voice.
I called a specialist doctor's office to inquire about appointment availability, consultation costs, and Medicare information. They claimed they were calling from Parramatta.
I called this number while trying to reach a specialist doctor's office to inquire about wait times. The caller seemed vague about which clinic they were with and only wanted a rough estimate of the wait time. There was also a significant delay during the call. When I tried to call back, the number led to an unusual voicemail message.
Caller identified themselves as an AI and left a voicemail mentioning a doctor's name while inquiring about appointment wait times for new patient appointments. This may require further verification to ensure it's a legitimate inquiry.
Similar to previous reports, this number called a specialized clinic inquiring about costs and availability, which raises some suspicion.
This call appears to be from an underdeveloped AI that is attempting to schedule doctor appointments. I strongly advise ignoring such calls.
A call was received today in Bundoora, inquiring about the wait time for seeing our surgeon. This felt strange and unusual, raising suspicions that it may have been an automated voice call.
I called a doctor's office to inquire about available appointment times and the cost for consultations.
