Robocall Money scammer.. Left voicemail instructing me to call back as it was the bank and that a 900$bitcoin payment had been stopped....
I received a call stating that my bank account was at risk due to a $900 bitcoin payment attempt. I was instructed to call a provided number to resolve the issue. I have since blocked the number.
Phone identified as potential fraud.
I believe this caller is the same scammer from South Australia who has been contacting me on a weekly basis.
Scam caller. Telemarketer.
When I answered, the caller was mumbling incoherently. I tried to speak, saying "Hello," multiple times, but then I just hung up. The caller seemed to be from South Australia or Western Australia, or possibly just using a fake number.
The caller did not leave a message, which I believe indicates a scam attempt. Legitimate callers typically leave messages. I have since blocked the number.
Community reports are retained as historical safety signals within the Reverseau telecommunications safety dataset and may reflect different experiences over time.
