I encountered a caller with an Indian accent who claimed to be seeking sensitive information. This raised my suspicion of it being a scam attempt.
When I answered the call, I informed the caller that I wasn't interested, hung up, and subsequently blocked the number.
A caller with an Indian accent claimed they had my full name and that someone had hit my car. The confusing part is that my car is parked right in my driveway, so I don't understand how this call makes sense.
This number consistently calls me at the exact same time every day, which raises my suspicions about its legitimacy.
I don’t know anyone in Ceduna, so I chose not to answer the call, and they didn’t leave any message.
This number sounds like a scam calling at 8 pm and when I answer no one responds just blocked the number.
Called three times within a few hours. Someone from work was heading to Ceduna (where this fixed line supposedly was) so answered the third time they called just in case it was them. Woman calling about the Solar rebate etc. Not interested so thanked her and hung up.
Community reports are retained as historical safety signals within the Reverseau telecommunications safety dataset and may reflect different experiences over time.
