I frequently receive calls from this number. They start in English, then switch to Chinese. I've blocked the number due to the persistent annoyance.
Fake Visa/Mastercard security department (lol, like two separate companies have a combined security department) scam call.
I received a scam call from someone impersonating the Visa/Mastercard security department, which doesn't make sense since those are two separate companies and would not have a combined security department.
Indian person saying they were from security at Mastercard Visa asking if I had made two charges on my Visa card (one from YouTube that was in the hundreds). I told them no, and they said they will transfer me to another person. I hung up at that point.
An individual with an Indian accent called me, claiming to be from Mastercard Visa's security department, asking if I recognized two large charges on my Visa card, one of which they said was for YouTube. I informed them I had not made those charges, and they then offered to transfer me to someone else. I chose to hang up instead.
I received a call from this number to a brand new work mobile that I've hardly shared with anyone. It was a prerecorded message claiming to be a concerned call from Visa about a transaction with Amazon. Definitely a scam!
