Phone back and voice message is GP claims helpline.....spam.
Rang back & the recorded message says “aceon” insurance. No message left on my phone & my phone highlighted the call as potential scam. Public Holiday today so I don’t think this is legit at all.
The number did not leave a voicemail when it called. I returned the call and heard a recorded message mentioning "aeon" insurance. Since it is a public holiday today, I suspect this cannot be legitimate. Additionally, my phone flagged this number as a potential fraud.
Hung up as soon as I answered. A scammer I assume. Block it.
I had exactly the same phone call, even when I accused him of being a scammer, he kept up the story. Same scam that's been running for years.
Lady called me and claimed to from cptl insurance regarding a motor vehicle accident. Claimed we had recently had a car accident.
Total scam be careful.
Overseas call, delay on answering their call. Got my name wrong, told me my number had been provided as my vehicle had been involved in a car accident. My car hasn't been in any car accidents, but she wanted details. I hung up and blocked the call. Obvious scam.
I was contacted regarding a fake car accident and a corresponding CTP claim, which I suspect is a scam attempt.
I received a scam call claiming that my insurance company had shared my details regarding a car accident I supposedly had, which is completely untrue.
