The following reports are user-submitted and not independently verified. Consider them alongside the aggregated signals above.
I was called by a robotic voice with a Chinese accent. The caller claimed they had been attempting to reach me for several days, which is not true. They hung up when I was asked to press a number for further options.
I received this call immediately after another call. The caller did not leave a message, which was suspicious.
I called this number back seven hours after they initially contacted me, and the voicemail claimed the number was out of service.
The male caller had a strong Asian (Indian?) accent. He told me his name was Jason (yeah, right!) and he was calling from the National Broadband Network. When I heard that, I hung up. Can't believe scammers are still using the National Broadband Network to try to con you. Worthless scum.
I answered a call from a man with a broad Asian (possibly Indian) accent who identified himself as Jason and claimed to be calling from the NBN. I found it hard to believe that people are still using the NBN as a scam tactic. I hung up before he could explain further. It's shameful how some people operate.
I have received multiple calls from various numbers that are quite similar, and they never leave a message. I strongly suspect these may be scammers attempting to deceive me.
Community reports are retained as historical safety signals within the Reverseau telecommunications safety dataset and may reflect different experiences over time.
