The caller mentioned something regarding a crypto transaction on my credit card, which raised my suspicion.
I received a call from this number but chose not to answer. They did not leave any voicemail for me to review.
Claimed to be from visa/mastercard warning of $2000 charge on my card. He hung up as soon as I told him I did authorise it:)... Clearly looking for someone to scam.
A woman called me claiming that my eBay account had been compromised by someone in California. However, when I told her that I don’t use eBay, she abruptly hung up. This seems suspicious to me.
Scam. If you answer they hang up then call you back on a slightly different number trying to sell you hot water system.
