Scam saying they want authorisation for a PayPal transaction and I don’t use PayPal.
I was contacted by a scammer who claimed to be from Amazon security.
I received a call from this number but decided not to answer. After reading the negative comments regarding this number, I'm relieved that I chose not to pick up.
Scam.
A few minutes ago, I received a call claiming there was a $990 transaction made on my PayPal account for various gift cards. The caller asked me to press 1 if I accepted the charge or 2 if I wanted them to investigate it. I immediately recognized this as a scam since PayPal does not handle payment requests this way. Please be careful and don't fall for this ridiculous scheme!
I did not answer this call and no voicemail was left. The caller ID indicated that the call originated from Adelaide, South Australia.
This is definitely a scam aimed at stealing your account details. They are trying to clean you out financially, so be wary and do not engage with them.
This number has been persistently calling me over the past week, along with similar numbers that differ only by the last two digits. I never answer these calls.
This number has called me four times over the past few days, always without leaving a message. When I tried to return the call, the phone didn’t ring at all. I believe this is a scam.

I missed a call from this number at 1:53 PM AEST. When I attempted to return the call, I found that it wouldn’t connect. I noticed other reports labeling this number as a scam, which makes me suspect that the number may have been hijacked for making outgoing calls but is unable to receive incoming ones.
The caller identified themselves as being from eBay and said that I had been charged $391. I did not engage further and immediately hung up.
I received a call stating that I needed to check a mystery payment and was prompted to press 1. I hung up because I do not have a Visa card and felt the call was suspicious.

I missed a call from the number (08) 7092 2567. The caller didn’t leave any voicemail. After realizing it might be a scam, I decided to block the number. This is getting out of hand with all these scammers!
The caller claimed to be from Telstra Internet Security, but I believe this is a scam.

Receive call from 08 7092 2567 Adelaide, stating that they where from AMAZON and that my account is due for payment. I have not got an account for AMAZON, I suspect as SCAM.
I was called regarding supposed internet security issues. When I mentioned that I suspected it was a scam, the caller abruptly hung up on me.

I received a scam call from what seemed to be an Indian call center. The caller claimed there was an issue with our Telstra internet connection and mentioned vague threats such as a virus, hacking, or a data breach. However, I must clarify that we do not even have an internet service with Telstra.
