I did not recognize the phone number, so I chose not to answer. Since they didn’t leave a message, I researched the number and subsequently decided to block it. I appreciate the information shared by others, which was very helpful.
I got a call from a number I didn't recognize earlier. I couldn't answer at the time, so I left a message asking them to call me back in 5 minutes. When they did call back, it was from a different number claiming to be “Telstra” asking about my IP address! I hung up immediately and have now blocked both numbers.
This number calls our landline but hangs up as soon as the answering machine picks up. They never leave a message, which is quite frustrating. This caller is a nuisance.
This was a scam call. The person, who initially seemed convincing and identified himself as Adam, claimed to be a Senior Fraud Investigator from a bank. He stated there were multiple attempts to use my cards and insisted I address this matter. I told him I was at my bank and would continue the call there. At that moment, he abruptly hung up.
Scam report: The caller claimed to be from the security department of both Visa and MasterCard, which raises suspicions about their legitimacy.
This is a scam call pretending to be associated with Commonwealth Bank's security team. It's important to be cautious, as this is a common tactic used by fraudsters.

The caller claimed I was eligible for a 50% discount on my Telstra bill and had my phone number and email address. They insisted on 'authenticating' me before sending any information by email. I felt uncomfortable and hung up. I believe this is a scam!
I have received several calls from this number, but they have ceased recently. Based on the pattern of their calls, I suspect this is scam-related.
This number called me, and it was an unusual-looking interstate number. They did not leave any message, so I checked this site and have now blocked them.
This call was a scam related to eBay. The caller asked me about my feelings regarding their fraudulent activities after I mentioned I had purchased a $500 gift card. When I inquired about their mother, they abruptly hung up. The caller had a discernible Indian accent, which is a common feature of such scams.
An Indian woman called claiming to be from Telstra, offering a discount on my account. She knew my name and email, which made me uneasy. She requested my birth date for verification, but when I refused to provide it, the call abruptly ended.
It’s a scam call—don't waste your time answering it at all. Ignore this number!
I did not answer the call because it seemed like a scam number. After checking on Reverse AU, I confirmed that it has been reported as suspicious.
I received a call that began with a slight pause followed by a recorded message informing me that my Amazon service would be automatically renewed and that money would be deducted from my bank account unless I pressed 1. Since I haven't made any purchases on Amazon in years and they don't have my bank details, I quickly hung up as this clearly sounded like a scam.
An Indian man called and told me that a technician would come on Friday to upgrade my internet fiber line. He provided some numbers I supposedly needed for the technician and then asked me to check my computer. When I told him that I didn’t have a computer, he abruptly hung up. I firmly believe it was a scam call.
An Indian caller contacted me, stating he was from Telstra. When I informed him that I was not a Telstra customer, he claimed that all internet companies fall under Telstra's umbrella. This interaction felt untrustworthy. I would recommend blocking this number.
I suspect this is a scam call. The number appears to be from South Australia, but it likely belongs to a spoofed number operated by an Indian call center. I have blocked and tagged the number for future reference.
I received a recorded message informing me that my Amazon membership was due, stating they would debit $99 from my account. They offered me the option to press 1 to speak with someone to cancel my membership, which I do not have. This is a clear scam attempt.
An Indian caller contacted me claiming to discuss the recent deregulation of the Australian electricity market and asked for the name of my current electricity supplier. This raised my suspicions, so I hung up without providing any information.
