I received a message whilst using safari on my mac just recently claiming that a virus may have intruded into my system. At the bottom of the message there was a number to call claiming to be the apple virus protection team. Curiosity getting the better of me I phoned this number to see what they had to say and as suspected it was very fishy and the the person on the other line could barely speak english. This is a scam people do not phone this number. In future if anybody receives a message similar to this punch it into Google on a separate device and follow the steps to enable safari again. Cheers.
