I received a recorded message stating, "Hi, this is your MasterCard and Visa processing centre. You have a payment of a debt of $1,200..." I hung up immediately as it sounded like a scam.

The call was identified as coming from Jaloran, WA. A female caller with an accent claimed to be with the NBN. When I informed her that I do not have NBN services, she abruptly hung up.

Just like Jim Forbes mentioned, I received a call from this landline number on my mobile at 2:11 PM (ADST). The call supposedly originated from Jaloran, WA, but they did not leave a voicemail, which raises my suspicions.
