A man with a Chinese accent called claiming to be from National Broadband Network. He said that National Broadband Network were to replace the copper wire outside my house with Optical Fibre. He wanted to know my computer internet speed, that I told him. I said I had to go as people were waiting for me outside. He said he will ring back in 3 hours. I wonder if he will.
Told me to overseas transactions. I asked on which account he said my account. I asked which bank and he said ANZ and got quite rude sheik said I don’t bank with them.
I received a call from (08) 6834 7744 with someone claiming to be from NBN. They mentioned that Optical Fiber would soon replace the copper wire for my property and asked about my current internet speed. I ended the conversation as it felt suspicious, and the caller indicated they would call back. I'm convinced this was a scam.

Just Received another Call From Odd Unfamiliar Number 0868347744. No Doubt from a Criminal Scamming Fraudulent Call Center!
I received an automated call stating that a PayPal payment of over $900 was required. The recording prompted me to press 1 if I wanted to cancel the payment, or 2 to approve it. I chose to hang up, as it seemed like a scam.
A woman claiming to be from NBN called and insisted that I download the "Anydesk" software. I felt uncomfortable with her request and informed her that I would report her to the police. She immediately hung up.
I received an automated call regarding a Visa charge of $900 related to cryptocurrency. The call prompted me to press 1 to cancel or 2 to approve the charge. This is a scam call.
