I got a call from this number saying that I had filled in an application on-line asking for $8000 credit for a holiday and had been approved, I said shocked I have been granted $8000 credit she said oh no only $2000, then asked if I was planning a holiday in the next 3 years, I said yes to Sydney, she said this is good timing for you then I will just need a few details. I said before I give you any details could I ask what website I applied for credit from and she hang up.

I have not applied for credit, and I could never get credit with my credit rating and income being what it is.

I got a call from this number at 5:33pm this evening, but since I have all unknown numbers directed to my voicemail, so I wasn't aware that I'd gotten a call until an hour and a half later. I thought it may be a call either from a telemarketer selling me something, a company conducting a survey or some "charity", but I thought I'd call them back, expecting to get their voicemail so I could find out who it was without speaking to them. Unfortunately this didn't happen; all I got was an engaged telephone tone. I looked up the number and got this. I definitely won't be answering after hearing/reading all of this!

I get this number calling me a lot. I spoke to them once and they were trying to get me to donate to something. I said no, but they keep calling. I don't answer anymore and have saved the number as do not answer.

These people call and refuse to answer. I am fed up with them. When I call back I get an engaged signal. Does anyone know who they are?

They Call at least 3 times a day and if I answer there is nothing on the other end. I to tried to call the number back and it gives an engaged signal or the line is busy.

Its becoming a nuiscance.

Constant calls even when I've asked them to remove my number from their list. They won't even tell me how they got my number.

I get calls from this number sporadically, and when I call back just seconds after they have hung up it comes up engaged. It could be a computer dialling?

I blocked this number and they still managed to call me on the exact number that's blocked in my settings how?!!

Say they are collecting for cancer, but when asked for which specific charity I got no response. I am also on do not call register.

They have rung me on several occasions for different reasons - charity, research etc. I told them not to call me but they still do.

This number calls me 3 times a day, every day for a 2 weeks now... From a research company wanting to know if 'I' think im paying too much tax. I did the survey,, the same as the other 20 I have done in the past 3 months,,, and I still get the calls. So annoying!

Got a phone call from the 08 63655576 @ 19:23pm tonight. I didn't answer it for I don't answer phone numbers that I don't know. I tried to call them back though under a private number (Blocked me number)just to see who would answer the phone @ the other end cause I was curious & all I get is nothin. Cant call the number back because I think they have blocked me number on their landline somehow. If the number rings me again in the future, I will be putting in a complaint to my mobile phone provider (Telstra) & hopefully they can sort it out.

This number is a spam number. Calls constantly trying to take money from you.

Asked for a person by name but hung up immediately when asked to leave a message. Tried to redial call back but number constantly engaged. Damn annoying.

Received a call from this number on my mobile. I do not answer numbers I don't know. No voicemail message was left. I figure if it's genuine, a message will be left. Easy to save the number as "do not answer", along with a litany of others :-(.

This number has called me every hour for the past 4 hours. The left a voice message on the first one, don't know if it was on purpose or not but they were speaking Spanish of French or something so I have no idea what was said.

When I try to call back the call doesn't even connect. I want them to stop calling but I want to answer to tell then to stop.

Calls and leaves weird voice mails, sounds like they are in a night club or busy restaurant.

This person has been calling, leaving blank messages in my message bank. When I was actually at my phone today and had a chance to answer, there was lots of loud clapping and cheering!

Her: Hi, is this *my name, pronounced wrong*.

Me: Yes this is *pronounced name correctly*.

Her: *very loud clapping in the background*.

Me: Who is this? I can't hear you.

Her: Oh, bad time?

Me: No the time is fine, I just can't hear you?

Her: Okay. One sec, I'll call you back. *hangs up*.

It's been like 20 minutes now and still no call back.

I think I'm just going to call Telstra and have their number blocked.

This no. Has been calling me everyday for the past week. I won't answer it as I filled out an online survey recently, & have been spammed to death ever since.

How can we block this caller ??

I got 6 missed calls from this number which I can even reach. Tried to call back don't even got any ringing tone. Is this a number that can be blocked? I already add this number in my rejected list and hopefully won't get any call from this number ever!!!

I got a call at dinner time from a Chinese lady asking me about loans housing ect and she knew my name number and address did anyone fill out a survey thing for boq.

I have been getting missed call from this number. For 2 missed call this arvo and 5 missed called in the evening. They just call and disconnect in 1/2 ring. annoying. Cant call them back. How do I stop them calling me?

I have just received 12 calls from this number. They ring and hang up within 2 minutes. Cold callers no doubt. Should be reported to ASIC and shut down. Block these losers.

Wow, they just called me at 10:40pm! It's not the first time they've called me, so I didn't answer, but they really shouldn't make marketing phone calls at that time of day.

I got few missed calls from this number since yesterday. And I saw your guys comment so I just use " blocked this number "to stop it. Maybe you guys can use this way too!

Just answered this numbe which was the first time I got call from it. An mild Indian accent lady said she is calling from something search group to ask me some questions for their survey. She knew my name, suburb, phone number. Questions about loan, living costs if I have plan to retire in next 5 years, if I m renting etc........... what's this about??? Anything bad can happen what will they do with these info ???? Omg.

I get them everyday for the last week at various times. Earliest was 4.15pm today and others are between 6 & 7pm! I just tried ringing back and nothing! VERY ANNOYING!!!!!!!! I wish they would stop!

Called around 5pm both times. A lady spoke. Maybe mild Indian accent? She spoke for 30 seconds.. It wasn't muffled but I ended the convo with no idea what she had said. Called again today It was local number so called back. No dial tone.. No nothing.. then it disconnects. Dodgey.

Got a call from this number today, first time, however reading these comments it will be the last time... I am supposed to be on a Do not call register too.. The beauty of the Samsung Galaxy S5 and S4 (prob other versions too) is that you can add a number to your Auto Reject Numbers. They Call but you never see or hear them call and if you don't want to see their no. Pop up in your messages as a missed call you add the no to your spam no. S - great tool... I can go in anytime and see my spam messages and usually there have been calls from the numbers, although it stopped for a while and now it seems to be starting again.

This number keeps calling me at all times of the day and night. Never leaves a message and when I call back it can't connect .

I got a call from this number and she confirmed my name and said she's calling from direct research for some survey questions. I replied saying I'm too busy and cant right now, it got disconnected.

Received calls from this number and they said I ordered water cooler. They kept talking about water cooler services. I don't understand why they got my name and phone number.

No one is answering there or saying anything. Hanu up after 10 seconds approx..... While I am calling back but nothing went there no rings no bells nothing.

Got two calls this week from this number I don't answer as they are calling in the middle of the night. I tried calling back but no reply I concur they are a scam.

Got a call saying the were "Direct Research'. They were supposedly doing a survey. Refused to give me more information about the company. The company has no webpage and is not listed on any Australian directory. They hung up on me when I started to ask questions about the company. Clearly seems to be information gathering for most probably fraudulent purposes.

Got charged because whoever is calling frm this number did it while I am overseas and it went to voicemail!! Extremely annoying.

Recd pushy call from this number. Obviously a foreign call centre saying they are heart foundation raising money. Knew my name. Quoting figures about womens heart disease in australia and research into pinprick test which would be available at gp office. Give away was mention of twelve women a day in their shelter being diagnosed. Politely said I couldn't talk and had to go but very pushy tryting to keep me on line. Reverse phone shows it as perth residential number.(via a foreign call centre obviously).you cannot ring number back. It is a scam.
