I received a call from an unknown number, which I ignored. They did not leave a voicemail and only let it ring briefly, suggesting that they may be accustomed to people not answering their unwanted calls.

I've never been a customer of modern group, or showed interest in their business, so there have never been on their customer database. Seems like they're now just calling random people including those on the "do not call list"

This phone number is from the Modern Group, WA. Usually doing random phone calls to generate business.
I answered the call using the Bixby voice assistant on my Samsung phone to filter out potential spam, but the caller hung up immediately. I have since blocked the number.
