I received a call from a WA number that appeared as an international call. It was a scam call regarding an urgent document notification. The automated message prompted me to press 1 for English and 2 for Chinese. I have since blocked and deleted the number.
This is a recorded scam call directing the recipient to press buttons to receive various information and language options. I strongly believe this is a fraudulent call. Action should be taken to prevent these deceptive calls from occurring.
I received a scam call featuring a robotic voice that claimed to be from immigration services.
Similar calls with different caller ID comes up almost everyday, I just listen (press 1 for australian citizen and 2 for Chinese nationals) for 20-30sec and call drops off, else they leave annoying vmail.
