The caller from this number (08) 6214 2414 requested that I call him back. He appears to be a debt collector, which raises concerns about the nature of the call.
I do not believe this number is associated with scams. I’ve learned that they might be trying to collect debts and, when unable to reach the correct person, they call the person's family and friends through social media to get a message to them. This practice appears to be legal.
I received a call followed by a text message asking me to contact someone named Nico regarding a family member.
I got a call from (08) 6214 2414 but they didn't leave a voicemail. Shortly after, I received a text from 0439 576 709 saying 'Hi [my first name], please contact Nico on (08) 6214 2414 regarding your partner. Thank you.' This feels suspicious to me.
This caller attempted to scam me by addressing me by name. It’s important to note they did not call my mobile phone but reached my office instead!
When this number called, I didn’t answer. They left a voicemail but only said it was important for me to call back without explaining why. They even addressed me by name, which felt a bit odd.
I received a call from this number before they sent a text asking me to contact someone named ‘Nico’ about a person named ‘Joshua’. This seems suspicious.
I received a voicemail from a caller asking me to call them back. I suspect they are a telemarketer or a debt collector trying to collect on bad debts.
I missed a call from this number, and they did not leave a voicemail. Following the call, I received a text message addressing me by my first name, asking me to call someone named Nico regarding a person named Dominic, which feels suspicious.
I received no voicemail, but I did get a text message from 0439 576 709 asking me to contact someone named Nico about Rocco.
I received a call from a person named Nico who mentioned something about Michael and Klementine, but I have no idea who they are. I will be ignoring any further calls from this number.
I received a text message from someone claiming to be named Nico, which addressed me by my first name and said he was calling regarding my neighbor, Donald. This was strange because I don't have a neighbor named Donald, and it felt suspicious that someone from Perth would be contacting me in SE Australia about a neighbor.
After I didn’t answer, I received a text from someone identifying themselves as "Nico." They mentioned something about my neighbor, Donald, which was confusing since I don't know anyone named Donald and I live far from Perth, where the call seemed to originate. This raises suspicions about the intent behind the message.
