Just had a genuine call from Optus checking in on my NBN setup.
This is a genuine Optus phone number; it is not a scam. I spoke with a representative named 'Kate' this morning by calling the official Optus number, and she called me back this afternoon using this number.

This phone number belongs to Optus and is a legitimate contact used to communicate with their customers. It is not a spam number, so feel free to answer if you receive a call from it.

This call was from Optus, and they reached out to me regarding an issue with my NBN service.
I missed a call from this number, which was supposed to leave an audio message, but there was no sound. I had been in discussions with Optus recently, so it might be related to that, but the call was unclear.
It’s Optus.
I have missed two calls from this number in the last two days, but no voicemail was left for me to follow up on.
