Yes same told me they are from Telstra IT dept. Got into my phone next thing they trying to withdraw money from my account. Lucky the bank asked me if I have a new payee.
Bunch of scumbags.....
My phone showed the name "Positive Finance".. No message was left, I didn't answer didn't know the number now blocked.
My phone's "SMART" shows the name "Positive Finance". The call went to my voicemail. No message was left, but background noise sounded like a Call Centre.
Called me just now and same as other reviewers today. I did not answer but they left a voicemail and I could hear a lot of people in a call centre speaking to other people and saying that they were Telstra. Blocked.
I've had 2 calls in the last 3 hours. Didn't answer. Obviously scammers from what others say here.
Now blocked.
Just got a call as well claiming to be Telstra… I asked if it was a scam and she said oh no.. Please know not to give me any personal information… I won’t ask for that! She kept saying do I know my IP address has gone from private to public. I just said I’ll look myself… if I had more time I would have played around with her lol.
Scammers pretending to be Telstra.
They called I said this is BS im not with Telstra - they keep calling back.
Scam for sure.100%
Same happened to me just now, I'm not even with Telstra....
08 6102 8833, a female caller claims from Telstra, saying my IP address has been compromised and opened to the public. She asked me to go to the Show My IP website to check. As I didn't response to her while checking the info, she hung up.
I received a scam call from a call center regarding my computer's network IP address. The entire conversation seemed fraudulent.
My phone labeled the caller as "Positive Finance." Although the call went to voicemail, no message was left. However, I could hear background noise typical of a call center, which raises my suspicions.
