Straight up scam, no two ways about it!
This number rang me, claiming to be the immigration bureau saying there's some urgent document for me. Then it just transferred me to a robot, and poof! Call dropped. Smells a bit off, don’t you reckon?
Got a call about verifying some documents, but honestly, I wasn’t having a bar of it. Hung up straight away. Heard they were calling from Esperance.
Oh, for crying out loud! Received a bloody recorded message saying they were suspending my phone service due to "suspicious activity." Came from Esperance WA, which sounds like a fancy cover for a spammer!
Got a call blabbering in Chinese about some immigration document. I mean, seriously?! Aren't we in Australia where English is the go-to language? This is just ridiculous.
Got a call on a Saturday afternoon from this dodgy number claiming I needed to update my details. Nah mate, I didn’t pick up! They left a voicemail saying to press 1 or 2 for something. Blocked it faster than you can say “scam!”
This number didn’t bother leaving a message. I'm not sure what’s going on with it, but it's definitely a bit fishy. Keep your wits about you!
I got this awkward recorded call saying to press 1 for English and 2 for Chinese. Like, seriously? Who has time for that?
