I received a call from a woman with a strong accent, likely from the Indian call center involved in recent scam news. She claimed to be contacting me regarding an accident. I expressed my frustration by telling her to find a real job and stop scamming people.
This situation is becoming unbearable. I am constantly bombarded by scams from call centers, particularly those operating from India. It's high time the network carriers take action to shut this down as it is very frustrating.

Scam call about being in a car accident.
After distracting the caller from this number (a women voice), they use another number to call me back: 02 8103 4975 (from Sydney, NSW). Be careful to this either.
Scam caller asking if I’d been in an accident recently.
I got a call from a number listed as being from 'Esperance, WA' and the caller didn't leave a message, which I found amusing.
As soon as I heard the voice I suspected a scam so hung up. Bit sneaky using a local number.
Do not know who called so we did not call back.
It's an Optus number being spoofed?? Do you know what spoofing is? It's literally explained on the page but everything has to be Telstra's fault right? You know Telstra block millions of spam calls each day. If it were that easy guarantee every telco would sell it as a product and charge you for it. Use your brain before you type.
Scam caller, Indian woman claiming from insurance company about my recent car accident, which I have never had in my life. Told her bullshit, and hung up. Why is Telstra allowing these scam callers from overseas using our local numbers?
