Young man with an Indian accent calling to say he was from 'Telstra Technical Department'. We never got to why he was calling because when I told him our ISP wasn't Telstra and we were connected via the National Broadband Network he told me that Telstra was the biggest Internet company in Australia and owned the National Broadband Network. Having some time to waste, I suggested he learn more about the company he supposedly worked for. His parting shot - what would I know, he was a TELSTRA TECHNICIAN and I wasn't and didn't know what I was talking about. Never convincing but can be highly entertaining when bored.
