I received a call mid-morning and answered it multiple times, but there was no response from the other end. It’s possible this was a computer-generated call dialing randomly, as I heard a faint connection noise before the caller hung up.
Answered unrecognised number (which I don't usually do, but have friends in Caloundra so thought I'd better check) - it was from 'charity survey', it said "representing some of the largest charities in Australia". It sounded like a recorded message; when I said it sounded like a robot, there was a pause and it said, gee I'm sorry to hear that. It paused if it detected me say something, then continued with the set spiel. Hung up, and blocked.
Same old story. Ring, never leave a message. Block as previous reviews.
Keep getting calls from random numbers I don’t answer them.
As other users have mentioned, I have also blocked this number based on similar complaints.
This number called me back in September of last year and is still using the same number to contact me as recently as March of this year. It shows that Telstra has not taken action against this suspicious caller.
This number calls me frequently, and I want to raise awareness to prevent others from getting scammed. Fortunately, I didn’t answer the call this time because my phone was on silent. I'm cautious about these scam calls, and if they attempt to reach me again, I plan to report the number to the local authorities.
Calls at same time daily. Its a scam. They hang up when I answer. Peace at last. Blocked the caller.
I receive calls from this number multiple times a day, every day. I strongly advise not to answer. I regretted picking up once and telling them I wasn’t interested, but they keep calling anyway. They never leave messages and just call to annoy me.
I answered the phone but heard no one on the other end. After waiting for a moment, I decided to hang up and block this number.
I have encountered another suspected scammer with this number, and I have blocked it as well.
A call came from this number to my landline at 7 AM, which woke me up. When I answered, the caller hung up without saying anything. It’s quite frustrating to deal with unsolicited calls, especially at such an early hour. I wish scammers would at least consider different time zones before making calls.
I Think its a charity.
This number belongs to rude cold callers posing as a charity scam. They seem to be taking advantage of people's goodwill, and I urge everyone to be wary of them.
This is ridiculous that this number is being used by spoofers. Why can't our telecommunication ombudsmen start laying down the laws to these.
I received a call from this number but they did not leave a message. I have seen multiple reports about this number. I wonder if telecommunications companies can identify these calls and block them from reaching users?
I received a call from this number, but they did not leave a message. I've decided to block the number.
I received a call on my landline from this number, which I don't recognize. They didn't leave a message, and it's no surprise to see reports about this number on your site.
The caller ID showed a number ending in 37, and I'm guessing that tomorrow it will end in 41. As I am a shift worker, I need to keep my phone on for work, but these constant calls are wearing me out. I really wish Telstra would put more effort into tracking down these nuisance callers.
This number has been persistently calling me multiple times, but I do not answer the calls. I find it excessive and frustrating.
I didn't answer the call and have now blocked the number to prevent any future contact.
I got a call from this number today but chose not to answer. They didn’t leave a message.
I received a call from this number this morning, but I didn't answer because I didn't recognize it. The caller sounded Australian and left a brief, confusing message. I'm certain this is another scam, especially since I've been bombarded with at least two scam calls daily recently. It's becoming overwhelming, and I wish someone could put an end to these calls.
When I answered the call, they hung up right away. I suspect it might be from an organization called My Charity Survey, which collects personal details to sell to charities for profit.
I received a call from this number, and when I answered, the caller immediately hung up, which was quite suspicious.
Scam caller.
My phone labeled this number as "Suspected Spam," and as a precaution, I have blocked it.
I received a call where there was silence initially, and then someone came on the line asking me questions about my support for various charities. I expressed my disinterest in participating and ended the call.
This number keeps calling me at odd hours, and it's becoming really annoying. I wish they would stop calling.
They hung up as soon as I answered. I decided to block the number immediately.
