I missed a call from a number identified as potentially spam, and they did not leave a message. I have chosen to block this number for my safety.
Based on previous reports of this number being troublesome, I have blocked it.
I have blocked several similar phone numbers that keep calling me. It's incredibly frustrating, especially when I have to interrupt my meals or work to find out it’s just another unknown charity call. These scammers waste my time and are a real nuisance.
It seems like the government and telecommunications companies are unwilling to take action against these calls because it would disrupt offshore call centers that can appear as domestic numbers. This is frustrating for many of us affected by these scams.
I've identified this call as a scam. I have blocked the number to prevent further contact.
I've received at least five different calls from numbers that all have the same prefix and claim to be from "Caloundra," located in Sunshine Coast, Queensland. These calls typically come in around 5:30 PM Queensland time. I have blocked each number, but I keep getting calls from similar numbers. It's becoming quite frustrating; I feel like I need to use a loud whistle so they think twice about calling again. This feels like harassment.
I found an alternative option on a non-Norton security site called Charity Choice, which offers a "stop calling" feature. I've implemented this solution and will keep monitoring the situation. This phone number harassment is relentless; they contact me at all hours of the day and evening, which is incredibly rude. Due to this negative experience, I will reconsider donating to any charity that resorts to such aggressive tactics.
I'm receiving persistent calls from a charity identified as "Charity Choice." It feels like stalking as they are calling from different numbers at all hours. Even when I block the numbers, I'm still receiving notifications of the calls. Today I received another call at 4 PM. This is very frustrating, and I will refrain from purchasing any charity tickets in the future if this is how they operate. I've made a complaint to Telstra, and I hope that resolves the issue.
I do not answer calls from numbers I do not recognize, and this caller did not leave a voicemail message.
I have started answering incoming calls with a greeting like, "Hello, welcome to the massage parlour, how can I help you?" Each time I do this, the caller hangs up immediately.
I received a call from Caloundra, Queensland, and noticed it was a similar number to another call I had missed from that area. I don’t know anyone there, so I didn’t answer and have since blocked the number.
I received a call from a number that appeared to be from Caloundra, Queensland. I chose not to answer because I do not recognize anyone from that area, and they did not leave a message.
I have received at least 3 calls today from unknown numbers, and this is just the latest one. The frequency of these calls is overwhelming. I believe that if the calls are important or legitimate, the caller will leave a message. I have decided to stop answering any calls that I do not recognize or that are not in my contacts. It's incredibly frustrating that the telecom companies and the government haven't taken action to address this issue.
I answered the call hoping to engage with the caller, but the line went silent and disconnected right after I picked up. It was very frustrating!
I picked up the phone and greeted the caller, but they didn't respond after a few seconds of silence, so I eventually hung up.
This number keeps calling me but does not leave a message. I called back and was informed it was a recorded message from Charity Choice, which felt impersonal and not genuine.
