C

Suspicious

I'm curious why these scam callers don’t say anything when I answer the phone. It seems strange not to engage with the victim. Is there another layer to their scam, such as a reverse charge? If anyone has insights into how these scams work, please share. If you’re seeking advice from this message, it’s clear: stop, block, and report the number.

B
Binger
Spam

The number (07) 5345 6207 has been persistently making unsolicited calls. When I answered, I only heard noise without any voice on the other end, prompting me to hang up. Additionally, I always inform callers soliciting donations that I do not contribute to charitable causes over the phone and politely end the conversation.

M
Murata
Spam

This continuous barrage of calls from what seems like a charity organization is incredibly frustrating. The numbers appear to originate from various states, and they often call me three to four times each day. Thanks to this website, I can block them, but I envy those whose call volume has decreased. A common sign of these calls is that they begin with the country code +61, often followed by either 03 or 07.

B
Blose

I didn't recognize the number, so I chose not to answer. Since they left no voicemail, I went ahead and blocked the caller.

W

The person who called did not seem real and appeared to know a significant amount of personal information about us, which was quite unsettling. The call originated from a local number. I recommend not answering calls from this number to avoid potential issues.

B
Bunker

Recently, I received a call from a similar number. When I answered, I remained silent and did not engage. The caller did not respond at all, so I kept the line open for an hour and a half in hopes that it might prevent them from harassing others. I am completely exhausted by these persistent nuisance calls.

W

This number did not leave a message, but when I called back, I was greeted with a recording stating that no representatives were available and asking me to leave a message. This felt suspicious and seemed like a scam.

This is a robocall that pretends to be a real person speaking to you, but it's actually an automated system.

B
