Received a recorded message from Franklin Benjamin telling us that he had received a complaint against us and was about to issue a warrant for our arrest for tax fraud. Suggested we contact him on this number if 'we want to know more about these things'. Laughable.
Call from "officer" ben franklin, agressively suggesting I would be arrested for some supposed offence and left this number for me to call him back on.... Sooo dodgy...TOTAL SCAM.
I received a call from an American sounding man claiming to be from the Australian Taxation Office and I was being charged with tax fraud. He left the number 0753213043 for me to call and find out what it was about.
When I called the number Officer Ben Franklin answered. He wanted to know the details for my lawyer and told me officers were on the way to arrest me.
I would not give him any details and he hung up.
Definite scam as I have not committed tax fraud.
I've had the same message, last Thursday and again tonight.
The callers name is Franklin Benjamin. Interesting.
Received a message on my answering machine,
(American speaking voice), Threatening to have me arrested for TAX FRAUD ;) idiot..... Scam ...please be careful !!!
