This number called me, and when I answered, I didn't say anything. The caller also stayed silent for a moment before hanging up. It felt very odd.
I received a call from this number that looks like a local Queensland number, but I don't have any idea who it is. It's concerning that calls like this are not being traced.
I received a call at 11:30 AM on August 31, 2022 (Australian Eastern Standard Time), but I did not hear it ring. Instead, I received a "missed call" text later. Judging by previous reports from others, this seems like a scam. Upon checking my phone records, I've noticed a call from the same number on August 1, and other missed calls this year from different numbers might also be connected to the same scam operation.
