I received a missed call on my landline but no voicemail was left. The number is unrecognized, and from what I've read in other comments, it might be an outsourced call center for a charity that gives only a small portion of donations to the charity itself. If you want to support a charity, it's best to look them up and donate directly to ensure they receive the full amount.
Spam call.
This number calls me repeatedly, asking for donations even though I've already informed them that our contribution budget is no longer available. The caller is usually a young woman who employs guilt-inducing tactics to press me into donating, which I find quite frustrating.
This number is associated with a scammer claiming to be a fake fund raiser. It has also been reported using these numbers: (07) 4870 9202, (07) 4870 9204, (07) 4870 9207, (07) 4870 9214, (07) 4870 9215, and (07) 4870 9217.
This is a known scam caller. They rang my landline, but no one spoke when I answered. Unfortunately, I can't block this type of call on my home phone.
I suspect this number belongs to a scam robocaller. I've received multiple calls from similar numbers, differing only in the last three digits (such as 202, 212, 216, etc.). Each time, they hang up as soon as I answer the call.
I received multiple calls from what claimed to be a “fundraising center.” They never left a message, so I suspect it is a scam. I have blocked the number.
Community reports are retained as historical safety signals within the Reverseau telecommunications safety dataset and may reflect different experiences over time.
