I got two calls from this number, which showed up as calling from Cairns, on June 27th and June 29th, 2024. Both times I answered, but there was silence on the other end before they hung up. It appears to be spam.
Scammers using this number but from overseas saying account was hacked and they ask for access to your bank block and delete this number.
Didn't bother answering. They didn't leave a message.
I received a call from this number at 5:40 PM, which appeared to be a Cairns number. I did not answer the call, and they did not leave a voicemail. Additionally, I received another call from (07) 4243 9082 on June 17th at 5:54 PM, which was also identified as a Cairns number, and again, I did not answer and no message was left.
Scammers do not answer and block number.
I received a call from a Queensland number followed by a call from a Victoria number. They were trying to obtain my personal information for so-called power bill comparisons. When I returned the call, the recorded message mentioned various fundraising organizations with names that were completely different. I strongly believe they are scammers attempting to get my details and are not legitimate businesses.
Community reports are retained as historical safety signals within the Reverseau telecommunications safety dataset and may reflect different experiences over time.
