This phone number is associated with scammers attempting to solicit donations for a holiday fund. It is advisable not to answer calls from this number to avoid interaction with the scammer.
I have received multiple calls from this number, and despite telling the caller repeatedly that I'm not interested, they persist in reaching out. They even change the number they are calling from to bypass the block I placed on their original number. This behavior is quite troubling and feels harassing.
I recognized the caller's voice from previous interactions, and it appears she doesn't take 'no' for an answer. Her responses seemed robotic, likely indicating she is an AI. Even when I mentioned my financial limitations, she continued to pressure me. There's a noticeable delay before she responds, which feels very suspicious and possibly indicates this is a scam.
There was no message left after the call. I marked this number as spam and blocked it since I had received similar calls in the past.
The caller introduced herself as part of Allkind Charity, soliciting donations for young Australians. After I expressed my disinterest, she continued to talk and pressed me to choose a donation level before eventually hanging up.
No message left. Another scammer, another number blocked.
The caller did not leave a message. I'm assuming it's another scammer, and I have blocked this number as well.
I got a call from an unknown number listed as "Cairns," but they didn't leave a message. Based on my experience with similar calls, I suspect it is likely a scam.
