I received a call from a woman who struggled to speak English. I did not stay on the line to find out what she wanted, as it seemed suspicious, and I have reported the number as spam.
SMART identified this number as potential fraud. I chose not to answer when it called, and it did not leave a message. As per my safety protocol, I have now blocked the number. The comments from other users were very helpful.
Scam caller pretending to be from Telstra, telling me I am eligible for 6 months of discounts on my Telstra bill. As I have a prepaid phone and don't get bills, I said I didn't believe them. I asked for their name and employer ID number - and said I would call Telstra to verify them - they hung up.
Scammers spoofing the number and claiming to be Visa Mastercard Verification.
The caller identified themselves as being from Telstra, claiming that they were receiving alerts about issues with my internet that needed fixing. However, I do not have my internet service with Telstra, which leads me to believe this was a scam.
I found 07 4225 3216 to be a scam call portending to be Telstra.
Said they were from Telstra and they wanted me to log into my internet to fix suspicious activity.
Ask them where they were ringing from and said Melbourne. When I questioned this he then said Brisbane. When I questioned this that he hung up.
I received a call from a Cairns number, and the caller claimed to be from Telstra, asking me to log into my internet account to resolve suspicious activity. When I asked for their location, they initially said Melbourne, then changed it to Brisbane when questioned further. The call abruptly ended after that.

The caller falsely claimed to be from Telstra, offering a 50% discount on my account for the next six months.
Received call from this number, left no voicemail or message. Called back and the call immediately ended, no ring tone, no voicemail message bank. Scammer for sure.
Received the call this morning, only answered it as was saying calling from Cairns, she said she was Telstra, I listened then asked her to verify where she was calling from, then she promptly hung up, sick of these SCAMS, people be alert at all times.
SCAM - Said they were Telstra and I was getting errors due to privacy settings on my internet.
I got a call from this number, but again, no message was left on my voicemail or text. When I returned the call, I only heard a hang-up tone before the call ended. This leads me to believe it is a scam.

I received three back-to-back calls this evening from different interstate numbers, and none of the callers left a voicemail. This pattern makes me suspect that they are likely scammers.
