Scam

Just had a call from an English guy saying he was from follow up services and was getting feedback regarding an accident I had. I told him I have no idea what follow up services is and asked him who he actually works for I.e. Government, police etc. He said the police and asked me for personal details regarding my insurance. I told him I didn't put in an insurance claim and he said 'oh really, the police said you did!' And then proceeded to ask me the details of the accident, that's when I said 'well shouldn't you know that?' And he pretended he couldn't hear me and I hung up.

Obviously just a scammer, and not a very good one!

Have had a few calls from this number about a mysterious car accident. Never had a car accident. Looked up number online and found this page as I thought it was odd. I have blocked the number. Some kind of nut calling - a male with a slight British accent who likes to talk in a high voice. Probably had his testicles cut off for doing to this someone else. Avoid number.

About This Report

This page is part of the Reverseau Scam Intelligence Database, a community-driven dataset maintained by Reverseau since 2014. The database documents caller behaviour across Australian phone numbers based on first-hand user experiences.

Each entry is generated when individuals who received calls or messages from a number submit a report through our review form. Reports include a caller safety rating (1–5 scale) and a written account of the interaction. All submissions are moderated before publication.

The safety rating shown on this page reflects the collective assessment of (07) 3911 1132 by real users. It measures perceived caller risk, not the quality of this page. A low rating indicates that reporters consider this number likely to be associated with scam or spam activity.
