I've been bombarded with calls lately and honestly thought my info got leaked. But I rang AGL, and it’s just their marketing team trying to offer me better deals. No scam here – all good!
Got a call from AGL today, and mate, they were actually legit! They offered me better rates on a new plan, knew all my details, and sent over the contract right away. All sorted in my AGL app now!
So, this numpty called me today, claiming they could upgrade my AGL plan to a ripper deal. I called 'em out and said it sounded like a scam, but they insisted it was legit. Tried to send me a text that looked official, but it was as dodgy as it gets! And couldn't even provide my email. Classic scam behaviour, mate!
