Scam call, that’s all.
Scam call, don’t bother wasting your time talk to them.
Don't answer unknown numbers, but called back with #31# prefix to hide my number..... Yep Diamond Plaza with an Asian accent telling me to hold for next available.... Blocked the number.
Indian caller saying they were from the Visa and Mastercard Protection service, and they were calling to check if I have authorised a payment to a New Zealand company. Hung up and blocked number.
SCAMMER! VERY heavy Indian accent. Tried to say they’re from Telstra, I asked what the call is regarding and she said she was calling about my internet connection… I asked her if she’s sure about that to which she said “yes I am ma’am”, I asked if she wants to try that again, she said “sorry ma’am?” And when I asked her who my internet connection is with (spoiler alert, it’s not Telstra) she hung up on me… when I tried to call back the automated message said I’d reached “Diamond Plaza” (who I have missed calls from in the past from different numbers, so they were likely the same scam). Just got this same call from 0740402069.
I received a call from an Indian call center that was using a spoofed Brisbane number. The caller claimed they were from eBay and mentioned a $500 gift voucher. I believe this is a scam.
I decided not to answer the call. Just from the vibe, it seemed like a scam.
I received a call regarding issues with my internet service, but I want to clarify that I am not a Telstra customer, which makes me suspicious of the caller's intentions.
I should also add that I’ve researched and cannot find a diamond plaza with this phone number. Definitely scammers!
Deliberately didn’t answer a call from this number as I don’t answer calls from numbers I don’t know. Called them back on my prepaid backup sim so they won’t know it’s me… got an automated message (robot with American accent) that I’ve called “Diamond Plaza”, was initially 3rd in line, then after being 1st in line for a while I got hung up on. I called 3 times and the same thing happened each time. I have no doubt it’s a scam.
A caller identified themselves as being from Telstra and claimed they wanted to change my IP address to a private one. It sounded suspicious, so I didn’t provide any information.
