A caller tried to sell me a phone at a 50% discount, which raises my suspicion that this is a scam center aimed at tricking people.
The caller had a voice resembling that of a young girl speaking with a foreign accent and was discussing changing the recipient's phone service provider. The recipient politely declined, saying "thank you but I don't need it" and then hung up and blocked the number.
I answered the call, but there was a 2-3 second pause before an Indian woman began speaking. Feeling uneasy, I decided to hang up.
I got an unsolicited call supposedly on behalf of a nonexistent phone company. This appears to be a scam attempt.
I received a cold call from someone offering rewards for switching my phone carrier. When I declined their offer, the caller became abusive, so I ended the call.
A woman called to talk about an enticing phone offer specifically tailored for me. I opted not to engage with her and simply hung up the phone.
Known scam artist but continues to opperate.
Update: My apologies for the confusion. After double-checking, I found that the company name "TM Mobile" that I mentioned earlier does not seem to exist, which raises further suspicions.
Scam offering new phone.
Scam. Identity theft. Claims to be a promotion offering a new phone.
Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information - claim that I was approved for a new free mobile phone I told them I didn't want it and they kept on calling back trying to get my information I gave them a fake name and was going to give them a fake PO box address just to shut them up but they wanted a home address so I just hanged up on them and blocked them to stop them from constantly calling me back.
I missed this call, so I called back. They said it was a promotional call and asked if I wanted a new phone. I said no, and they ended the call.
I answered the call, but as soon as I said hello, the caller immediately hung up without a word.
I believe this is definitely a scam. The woman on the line was speaking poorly in English, which raised my suspicions!
I received a call from this number while I was in Victoria. When I answered the phone, there was just a dial tone, which led me to believe it was a robocall. I consider this call to be junk and unreliable.
This number claimed to be from a "phone company." I missed the call but called back only to have a woman, who possibly sounded like she was from India, deliver a scripted message. I hung up immediately and blocked the number.
Scammer - said they were from a mobile company and my number had been approved for a free mobile.
