Scam

Received a call today,21/11/2025, from this number. The number rang once, I did not recognize it, so I didn't answer as is now a habit, the same number rang back straight away, so I answered, as I haven't heard of scammers redialing. Well spoken male, American/ Filipino accent, identified himself as 'BOQ Fraud Dept.' Asked for me by 'FULL NAME' and described a 'suspicious debit card transaction involving flight tickets.' Asked me "are you aware of this transaction?" I said "no, I think I'll go into my branch and check on this." He hung-up immediately without saying another word. DEFINITELY A SCAM. GIVE THIS CALLER N O INFORMATION!

Scam

This bloke rang from the so-called "BOQ Fraud Dept" but didn’t even identify himself properly! When I mentioned going into the branch, he just hung up without saying a peep. Definitely dodgy—don't give them a second thought or any info!

Suspicious

So, this well-spoken caller, Lina or Lena, wanted a callback about some "banking matter," but here's the kicker: we don’t bank with them at all! Quite suspicious, if you ask me.
