I received an automated message indicating there was a $900 charge to my PayPal account, and it prompted me to enter a number to cancel the charge.
I received a call from someone claiming to be from Vodafone, offering a discount on my plan. This is clearly a SCAM. They requested my 4-digit Vodafone PIN, which raises a red flag.
I received a call from (07) 2113 2492 where the caller claimed to be from Telstra's technical department. They alleged that my internet was being hacked and surprisingly asked for my password. This is definitely a scam!
I was contacted by a scammer posing as Mastercard, claiming they needed to authorize a credit purchase on my card. They wanted my card information to complete the authorization, which sounded bogus. I told them to go away.
After calling back, I received an automated recorded message from a scam caller that didn't provide any information about who they were or what company they claimed to represent.
I suspect this is a PayPal scam and believe that action should be taken by the ACMA (Australian Communications and Media Authority).

However, when I requested their name and a reference number, they hung up. Their accent made it difficult to understand them.
