I received a call that appeared to be from PayPal, claiming to confirm an online transaction. They instructed me to "press 1 to cancel or 2 to accept." Since PayPal typically handles matters through their official website and directly with customers, this call is definitely a scam.
I got a call from this number this morning, but as soon as I answered, they hung up immediately.
I received a call that appeared to be a scam. They prompted me to authorize $750 in online shopping through something claiming to be PayPal, asking me to press 1 to authorize or 2 to report. I ended the call without responding.
I got a call from a random person with a strong Indian accent who said they were from Brisbane. They claimed to represent Telstra and wanted to discuss issues related to our internet service.
Likely spam, no one was on the other side when they called and then hung up.
Likely spam, no one was on the other side when they called and then hung up.
It seems this was likely a spam call. When I answered, no one was on the line, and they hung up shortly afterward, which signals that it may not be a genuine call.
I answered call, after 1 second they hung up. Suspect scammer.
I answered the call but before I could say hello, the caller hung up after just 1-2 seconds. This makes me suspect it could be a scammer.
I chose not to answer this call since no one from Brisbane typically calls me at 4:50 PM WA time, which is nearly 7 PM in Brisbane. This gives me the impression that it's a scam.
I received a call from a scammer who spoke with a foreign accent and was trying to obtain my personal information. Please be cautious as this appears to be a phishing attempt.
Spam call- do not give information out.
I received a call from this number both yesterday afternoon and this evening. Each time I answered, the call was disconnected. This pattern feels suspicious, and I believe it may be a scam.
This home phone number is part of a scam. I received a message claiming to be from 'Visa' indicating that I need to confirm a shipping order for $1000 by pressing 1 for no and 2 for yes. I have not made any online purchases, and my bank typically sends messages rather than calls. This appears to be an elaborate scam; do not engage.
My phone has an internal screening which picked this up as a potential fraud. No message left. Probably a scam.
I missed a call from this number, and they did not leave a message. Based on this behavior, I believe it is likely a scammer.
Didn’t answer but the number said it’s located in Brisbane Australia.
Scam.
