Rang today. Answered and they just slammed the phone down hanging up!
Called me yesterday, it's a call centre. I assume it's overseas. I hung up as soon as I heard the background noise, did not stay on long enough to hear a voice and gauge an accent.
I received a call from this number today (March 1) but they did not leave a message. Based on previous reports on this site, I have now blocked the number. I find the reverse lookup service very useful and simpler than other resources like ACCC for identifying potential scams.

SCAM - Just answered and was a robo call supposedly from PayPal to authorise $900 transaction - Don't answer.
This number is a scam. I didn't answer, but they left a voice message that was a robotic call discussing supposed crypto charges to my credit card. It instructed me to press 1 to accept the charges and 2 to decline them. I deleted the message and promptly blocked the number.
Scam. Answered while driving. Recorded message came on and said something about a PayPal transaction. Hung up.

This caller is a scammer. Please do not answer if they call you. I have received several calls from them, and they spoke with an Indian accent, asking for my personal information.
I ignored the call as the number was unfamiliar to me. I appreciate earlier comments warning that this number is associated with a scam, so I have blocked and deleted it.

I received a call from someone who claimed to be an Indian scammer. The call sounded poor quality, and when I confronted them about being a scammer, they abruptly hung up on me.
