The caller claimed that someone was trying to place an order for a phone using my account and wanted to verify if I had made the purchase. After I confirmed that I did, she didn't provide any further information.

Just Received Another Call From Odd Unfamiliar Number 0721132436. No Doubt a Spoofed Computer Generated Number From an Indian Criminal Fraudulent Call Center!
I received yet another call from an unfamiliar number (07) 2113 2436. I strongly believe this is a spoofed number generated by an Indian fraudulent call center.
I picked up a call from this number, but there was just silence on the other end, so I hung up.
Called and the caller hung after 3 seconds. Has happened twice now. Definitely a scammer.
Claimed to be from PayPal regarding a $700 payment. Pressed 1 to speak to someone and then told him where to go and hung up. It was an obvious scam and I could check my PayPal account anyway. PayPal don’t work that way. I have blocked the number.

Toay - automated message claiming they were PayPal and that someone had tried to use our PayPal account to purchase $700 worth of gift cards. Press 1 to speak with someone and press 2 to authorise (so I just hung up).
The caller claimed to be from Microsoft, warning me of a virus on my computer. They were quite abrupt, and when I asked for a callback number, they provided a completely different one than the one they were calling from.

I received a call from someone pretending to be from Telstra, claiming that my email accounts had been compromised. I believe this is a scam attempt.
Caller claimed to be calling from Vodafone but couldn't provide me with any of the other phone numbers that I have on my account so definitely a scam.
